HP printers
As a freelancer for Hewlett-Packard’s printer design team, I contributed sketches, CAD, design research, and CMF.
HP’s Deskjet 3600 series was a low-cost, printer and scanner. I contributed designs for the paper management system which required simplicity of use while being easy to manufacture.
For the Officejet 4600 series I contributed CAD surfaces to help resolve issues with overly complex highlights. The scratch-paper sketches shown below were to used to work out a surfacing strategy.
